“Thor: Love and Thunder” (2022) follows Thor as he seeks inner peace, leaving behind his days as a hero. His journey is disrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, who embarks on a divine massacre to avenge personal tragedy.

Thor reunites with Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster, who now wields Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor, despite battling cancer. Together, they fight to stop Gorr’s quest to reach Eternity and annihilate the gods.

In a climactic battle, Gorr chooses love over vengeance, resurrecting his daughter before succumbing to his wounds. Jane sacrifices herself heroically.

The story concludes with Thor caring for Gorr’s daughter, finding new purpose as her guardian while continuing his adventures.
