2.The Idea Of You

Not kdrama related but I just love that old school romance films are back in the cinema these days. I’ve read the book where this film was adopted from years ago and I was soo gutted by the ending. It ruined me. And so I got curious and watched the movie version and so glad that I did. Of course the book version is still 100 times better but if you’re looking for a classic May December romance this movie is for you.
It was an easy watch, sprinkled with healthy conversations. Predictable with a touch of humor here and there.
Just a little trivia: the author of this book did mention in her interview that her inspiration in writing
this story was no other than Harry Styles from One Direction.

Additionally, the fact that the movie revolves around Owenโs wandering eye has served to put viewers off even more.
Itโs a messy plot with flimsy characters who promote questionable behaviour; itโs safe to say that Lonely Planet wonโt be regarded very highly in Hemsworth or Dernโs filmographies in years to come.
