Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) explores the journey of Scott Lang (Ant-Man), Hope van Dyne (the Wasp), and their family into the mysterious Quantum Realm. The story begins with Scott enjoying newfound fame after helping save the world, but his peaceful life is interrupted when his daughter Cassie Lang experiments with Quantum technology and inadvertently opens a portal to the Quantum Realm.

Scott, Hope, Cassie, and Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, are pulled into this bizarre dimension. As they navigate its strange landscapes and meet its unique inhabitants, they encounter Kang the Conqueror, a powerful and menacing villain trapped in the realm. Kang offers Scott a deal: help retrieve a critical device, and Kang will give him back the time he lost with Cassie during the Blip.

The group is torn between trusting Kang and stopping his ambitions to manipulate time and multiverses. Janet reveals her past connections to Kang, explaining the devastating consequences of his power. A climactic battle ensues, where Scott and his allies confront Kang and his army to prevent him from escaping the Quantum Realm and wreaking havoc on the multiverse.

The movie ends with Kang seemingly defeated, but hints at his return and the larger threat he poses across the multiverse. The mid-credits and post-credits scenes tease future confrontations with Kang variants and tie into upcoming Marvel projects, setting the stage for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
